Role Purpose:
The Administrative Assistant, Intellectual Property position within the Copyright & Trademark team will provide administrative support to the SVP, Intellectual Property and provide general office assistance to the greater Intellectual Property department.
Responsibilities:
Provide prompt, high-volume administrative support to the SVP, Intellectual Property and coordinate departmental workflows, including handling phones, scheduling, and filing
Partner with the Accounting team to execute department billing and invoice processing
Coordinate with executives and assistants throughout the company to schedule routine meetings, calls, and appointments
Prepare expense reports and keep accurate expense account records
Process, input, and track legal work by uploading information or documents into various databases and management systems, along with updating statuses and tracking reports
Execute travel arrangements, both domestic and international, and maintain itineraries as needed
Compose, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, memos, presentations, spreadsheets, and other documents as assigned
Manage administrative aspects of special projects as assigned, including planning and organizing intradepartmental meetings and events
Conduct comprehensive searches of corporate files, databases, and other sources for relevant information about new and library properties
Basic Requirements:
1+ years of experience in an administrative support role
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
Desired Characteristics:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience with legal and billing database tools
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Consummate team player and collaborator
Excellent oral and written communication, time management, multi-tasking, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to draft and review various documents and maintain report statuses
Professional and courteous telephone etiquette
Excellent attention to detail
Familiarity with the concept of "privileged and confidential"
Hybrid : This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the Universal City, CA office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000
