Salary: $57,000 - $65,000 annually (DOE)

Eadie & Payne, LLP is a growing public accounting firm serving businesses, nonprofit organizations, and governmental entities throughout Southern California. We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper who enjoys working with multiple clients, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service.

If you’re local to the Riverside area, this position offers a hybrid work environment. For highly qualified candidates outside the area, remote work may be available.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain accurate financial records for a variety of clients.
• Record journal entries and maintain general ledgers.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and process client payroll.
• Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting.
• Prepare regulatory filings, including sales tax, payroll tax, 1099s, and unsecured property tax filings.
• Support tax and audit teams with bookkeeping-related requests.
• Communicate directly with clients to obtain financial information and answer bookkeeping questions.
• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and other accounting software to maintain accurate client records.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA or public accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required with relevant experience.

Location
