Warehouse Forklift Operator

Job Description:

DHL is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, and unload heavy items and pallets. You will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
• Move products to designated storage areas and staging zones.
• Ensure proper placement and stacking of materials to prevent damage.
• Assist in inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
• Inspect forklifts daily and report any mechanical issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety standards.
• Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
