Position: On-Site Property Manager - Luxury High-Rise Living
Property Description Catalyst Charlotte is a privately owned and operated luxury high-rise apartment community located at 255 W. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in the heart of uptown Charlotte, NC. The property features 462 upscale studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartment homes with expansive views of the city and surrounding neighborhoods. Role Description The Assistant Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Catalyst Charlotte in Charlotte, NC. This position supports the Property Manager in daily operations, including assisting residents, coordinating lease renewals, and managing move-ins and move-outs. The role involves handling resident inquiries, addressing service requests, and helping ensure a high level of satisfaction and retention. The Assistant Property Manager assists with rent collection, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
This role also helps with marketing activities, touring prospective residents, preparing lease documents, and ensuring compliance with property policies and local regulations, while collaborating with maintenance and leasing teams to maintain a well-run community.
Qualifications
- Prior Assistant Property Manager experience with Yardi experience is required.
- Candidates should possess strong customer service and resident relations skills, including clear communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Candidates should possess property management and administrative skills, such as lease administration, rent collection, recordkeeping, and basic financial tracking.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should possess basic sales and marketing abilities, including conducting property tours, presenting amenities, and supporting outreach or promotional activities.
- Relevant experience in residential property management or hospitality, familiarity with property management software, and proficiency with standard office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets) are beneficial.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A college degree is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, including alternating weekends or evenings as needed, and to collaborate effectively with diverse residents, team members, and vendors.
