Position Summary

Provide assistance and direction to residents with personal care needs and activities of daily living.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living; notify Wellness Manager of any changes in resident needs or abilities.
• Follow all applicable Legacy community, state and federal rules and regulations.
• Answer resident calls for assistance.
• Takes and records resident vital signs.
• Assists with toileting of residents/patients.
• Assist residents to and from the dining room and activities.
• Serves and monitors residents during dining.
• Assists residents with light daily housekeeping and trash removal.
• Assist Lifestyle Coordinator with carrying out activities for residents.

Educational Requirements and Experience

• Nurse’s Aide Certification in active and in good standing in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 6 months of CNA experience.
