Stow’s Furniture – Candidate Overview & Requirements

Projected Start Date: Likely Thursday (please have selected candidates to me by 12pm on Wednesday) Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $15/hour • Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (could last longer depending on business needs and customer appointments) ________________________________________

Candidate Preferences & Requirements

• Driver’s License: o Preferred: Valid driver’s license with driving experience o Not required, but strongly preferred for future conversion (they will not drive while on our payroll) • Skills & Experience: o Mechanically inclined o Comfortable using basic tools (furniture assembly) o Able to follow specific assembly instructions • Physical Requirements: o Heavy lifting up to 50–60 lbs o Team lifting for heavier items o Moving and handling furniture throughout the shift • Appearance / Dress Code: o Customer-facing role o No torn or inappropriate clothing o Acceptable: jeans or work pants o No derogatory graphics or messaging on clothing ________________________________________
