Job Summary

Responsibilities

An PT working contract through Elite Medical Staffing at an inpatient rehab facility may be expected to:

• Evaluate residents' strength, balance, mobility, endurance, and functional limitations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve or maintain mobility and functional independence
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and other skilled physical therapy interventions
• Recommend and train residents in the use of mobility aids, assistive devices, and other equipment as appropriate
• Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and established goals
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on mobility techniques, fall prevention, and safe movement strategies
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and resident outcomes
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active PT license
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in inpatient rehab
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Credentials Required

• Active and unencumbered GA PT License or Compact PT License
• Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
• CPR/BLS
• Resume
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
