This full-time, onsite contract role offers a chance to support and empower young learners by delivering crucial speech and language services within a supportive educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Previous experience serving in a school setting (elementary level preferred)
  • Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational teams
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students in individual and group settings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
  • Conduct thorough assessments and maintain timely, accurate documentation
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary planning for student success
  • Offer guidance and resources to staff and parents on communication strategies
