Key Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license
- Previous experience serving in a school setting (elementary level preferred)
- Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational teams
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students in individual and group settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
- Conduct thorough assessments and maintain timely, accurate documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary planning for student success
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and parents on communication strategies
