Job Description for Food Service Representative:

In collaboration with the manager, the Food Service Representative helps with tasks like food and meal preparation, cash receipt management, and meal record maintenance. They also aid in producing daily reports and emphasizing the significance of adhering to quality standards in food production, hygiene, and kitchen safety practices.

Responsibilities for Food Service Representative:

• Construct premium dishes and pastries in accordance with a planned menu
• Formulate a daily overview to authenticate and record transactions
• Being familiar with what comprises a meal is crucial
• Store food accurately while maintaining sanitation protocols
• Follow department protocols and adhere to meal schedules when providing food service
• Proper handling and upkeep of kitchen utensils, particularly cutting implements, are vital for ensuring safety and productivity in the kitchen
• Organizing and preparing an assortment of food items, drinks, and snacks efficiently and promptly
• Elevate customer delight and enhance visual appeal with the integration of garnishments
• Collaborate in organizing and assisting with the comprehensive cleanup of refrigerators, freezers, and culinary machinery
• Comply with regulations on sanitation, food handling, and storage to ensure food safety standards are met
• Regularly interact with the manager to ensure a thorough understanding and accurate planning of the day's menu
• Keep track of the food temperature prerequisites
• Keep your workspace and storage location organized and free of clutter
• Ensure cleanliness by polishing and sanitizing counters, steam tables, and equipment
• Comply with prescribed procedures and standards for sanitation to guarantee a harmonious and secure ambiance; responsibilities involve sweeping, mopping, and cleaning utensils
• Ensure the garbage collection area and kitchen floors are orderly and well-kept

Qualifications for Food Service Representative:

• Food Service Certificate as needed
• Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
• Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety standards
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
