Sr. Cost Accountant – Contract
Job Title: Sr. Cost Accountant – Contract
Location: Tampa, FL
Work Schedule: Hybrid – 4 days on site, 1 day WFH.
Contract Length: ASAP to December 31, 2027
Reason: Internal SAP ERP implementation project.
Salary: $45–$57 per hour.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- 2 years of SAP experience.
- Cost accounting experience.
- SOX knowledge.
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP).
- Bachelor's degree.
- Nice-to-Have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Corporate Accounting Manager – Cost
Job Title: Corporate Accounting Manager – Cost.
Location: Tampa, FL.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly cost close process, including inventory and COGS analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Maintain and enhance costing methodologies, standard costs, and ERP (SAP) cost structures.
- Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, overhead, materials) and provide actionable insights.
- Partner with operations and FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
- Support internal and external audits and collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience, heavily focused on costing.
- Experience managing direct reports.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with PowerBI and SQL.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Nice-to-Have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
