The State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is currently accepting applications for the position of Fiscal/Administrative Assistant, within the Business Services Receivables unit in Hartford, CT.

  • Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00am - 4:30p
  • Located in Hartford, CT
  • Hybrid work environment

The Role:

As a Fiscal/Administrative Assistant, within the Business Services Receivables unit, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Process daily bank deposits, including check deposits via Remote Deposit Capture, to ensure statutory compliance is maintained.
  • Apply deposits to the appropriate ledgers in CORE CT to ensure accurate and timely financial recording.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and customer agencies to prepare billings and collect outstanding payments.
  • Engage in cross training with team members to support operational coverage and strengthen team capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customer agencies to support smooth financial operations.
