As An Orthodontic Assistant, You’ll Play a Key Role In Supporting Treatment And Keeping Our Clinic Running Smoothly. Your Responsibilities May Include:
- Greeting new patients and making them feel welcome
- Taking x-rays and patient photos
- Chairside clinical assisting
- Documenting treatment progress
- Sterilization and infection control
- Laboratory duties
- Patient education and motivation
- Assisting with practice promotion
- Miscellaneous duties as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Extremely personable, with a consistently positive and upbeat attitude
- Team-oriented, with a “team before self” mindset
- Comfortable multitasking in a high-paced clinical environment
- Motivated to learn and continually improve skills
- Skilled with hands-on tasks and has excellent manual dexterity
- Proficient in the use of computers/tablets, with quick and accurate typing ability
- Experienced in dental/orthodontic settings (preferred, but not required)
Able to quickly build rapport with patients and families of all ages
Position Details
- Type: Full-time (35–40 hrs/week), 3–4 days per week
- Schedule: Variable hours between 6:30am–5:30pm; standard 8–10 hour shifts
- Benefits: Health and dental insurance, PTO, sick leave, 401(k) with matching, and bonus eligibility
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Experience: 1+ year dental/orthodontic experience (preferred)
