## Role summary

Life doesn’t always follow a fixed schedule, so we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position as a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader. This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you.

## Pay Rate

$15.95 / Hour

Thursday — 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

## How this role works

• Hired to a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform under our Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. You can work part-time hours one week and build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week or scale back when needed.

## Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and access control protocols.
• Monitor and document entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or identification, and help deter unauthorized access to buildings, gates, yards, and other restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, including docks, trailer areas, parking lots, and other operational spaces.
• Maintain accurate logs, report unusual activity, and follow post orders related to visitor management, vehicle screening, and package handling.

## Qualifications / What we expect from applicants

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
