Phlebotomist II - Lead & Mentor, On-Call Lab Expert

Houston Methodist is seeking a Phlebotomist II who will perform both in-patient and out-patient specimen collection and phlebotomy. This role entails providing direct patient care, processing specimens, and maintaining the Laboratory Information System. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of experience in phlebotomy, with necessary certifications and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Additional responsibilities include acting as a preceptor, resolving complex issues, and ensuring quality and safety in all tasks performed.
