Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

Anduril is seeking a Senior Integration Test Engineer to join the Omen team at our Costa Mesa HQ. Omen is Anduril’s hover-to-cruise autonomous air vehicle (AAV) that packs the endurance, payload, and mission flexibility of much larger airplanes into a novel runway-independent Group 3 platform. Omen can operate from ship decks, beaches, or remote island clearings, providing true runway independence and freedom of maneuver across defense and civilian domains. Omen is the first tail-sitter aircraft with a mass-production contract, with an order of 50 systems representing a decisive investment that anchors production and accelerates the development of future systems.

As a Senior Integration Test Engineer you will own the build and integration process. You are the bridge between engineering design and the technicians and mechanics executing the build, ensuring that every vehicle comes together on schedule, to spec, and ready for test. You will manage build packages, track material readiness, disposition discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement in how we turn engineering intent into flight-ready hardware.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own the vehicle build and integration process from BOM release through flight-ready handoff

Review and validate build packages, work orders, and engineering drawings for completeness and producibility

Ensure material readiness: track parts availability, coordinate procurement gaps, and manage kit staging

Serve as the primary technical interface between design engineering and build technicians

Identify, document, and disposition build discrepancies and non-conformances; drive root cause resolution

Maintain and track build schedules across multiple vehicle builds and locations

Manage configuration control for vehicle builds, ensuring as-built records match as-designed intent

Support factory acceptance testing and first-power activities following integration

Develop and refine integration procedures, acceptance criteria, and workmanship standards

Participate in design reviews to provide integration and producibility feedback to engineering

Travel to build locations to oversee integration activities, support technicians, and resolve issues in real-time

Roll up your sleeves when needed — willing to get hands-on alongside the build team to keep things moving

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering

8+ years of experience in systems integration, vehicle build, or hardware integration and test

Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating build/integration activities for complex electromechanical systems

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications

Experience with configuration management and as-built documentation practices

Familiarity with BOM structures, work order systems, and material planning

Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and ability to use basic test equipment

Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to translate engineering intent into clear direction for build teams

Self-motivated with high ownership; bias toward action when problems arise

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance

Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with rotorcraft or VTOL platforms

Background in uncrewed or autonomous vehicle integration

Experience with Group 3 or larger UAS programs

Defense industry experience

Experience developing or improving integration/manufacturing processes in a low-rate or prototype production environment

Familiarity with data acquisition systems and instrumentation
