Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find a talented Business Systems Analyst 3 (Payroll) for one of the largest Health Plan clients

Business Systems Analyst 3 (Payroll systems)

Remote in California

Duration

9+ Months contract

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert for end-to-end payroll operations
  • Partner closely with Payroll leadership, P&E Technology, Payroll Business Analyst, and cross-functional teams to support testing configuration in the new Workday Payroll and Time Entry system
  • Apply knowledge of payroll principles, tax regulations, compliance standards, and system configuration to support implementation activities
  • Support payroll team with audit activities, reporting, and additional payroll-related projects as needed
  • Collaborate with HR:

Connect and HR Shared Services teams to ensure alignment across payroll operations and system updates

Required Skills

  • Payroll Business Analyst experience – 2+ years
  • Payroll Specialist experience – 5+ years (current and continuous payroll experience required within the last year)
  • Workday Payroll processing experience – 2+ years

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting UKG transition to Workday configuration and testing
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Business Intelligence reporting

Software Skills Required

  • Ultipro, UKG Workforce Management, Workday Payroll

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $45–$50/hr. on W2
