This is a full-time role based in our Culver City Vernon, Los Angeles head offices, requiring an in-office presence of four days per week, with one day remote.
The Role:
We are seeking a Buying Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the Buying team at Reformation across Retail and Wholesale. This is a highly collaborative role where the buying coordinator partners closely with a variety of cross functional teams. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, innovative, tech savvy and have excellent communication skills. Because the environment is fast-paced, the role requires flexibility and an ability to juggle multiple tasks. Last but certainly not least, this person should be passionate about fashion and sustainability! For a high-performer, there is a clear pathway for future growth into Category Management and broader strategic buying responsibilities as you master our systems and assortments.
What You’ll Do:
Generate correct and timely purchase orders, and track and maintain them throughout the entire process across Retail and Wholesale
Manage calendar deadlines and ensure cross functional teams have what they need
Assist the team with updating documentation and ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
Work closely with the buying team on assortment planning and management for the Apparel business
Communicate cross functionally with relevant teams to ensure cohesiveness - production, merchandising, planning, wholesale sales
Help to analyse sales on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis
Identify process, workflow and system improvements and bring recommendations to manager
Assist the team with day to day needs
Take initiative beyond basic responsibilities
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s Degree
1-3 years of experience in apparel at a retailer/e-commerce company (preferred)
Strong Analytical and Math skills
Ability to prioritize
Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
Ability to adapt to complexities of an expanding organization
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation:
At Reformation, we believe in transparency and equity when it comes to compensation. For this role, the anticipated base hourly range is $22-25 per hour depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal compensation equity.
This role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a range of factors, including company performance, department goals, and individual contributions. Bonus amounts and eligibility are not guaranteed and are determined at the company’s discretion.
