Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Worker at Aramark, you play a key role in ensuring that products are received, organized, and distributed efficiently and accurately. You'll support the overall warehouse operations including inventory management, order preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• One must have reached the age of 18 or above
• Having a high school diploma or GED is the recommended credential
• It is preferred that applicants have a minimum of two years of experience in a warehouse setting
• Developing basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills is imperative
• Basic computer literacy
• Demonstrates expertise in communication through writing and speaking competencies
• Skill in using machinery with precise hand coordination
• Can manage lifting weights of up to 50 pounds and is accustomed to carrying loads of up to 35 pounds regularly
• Based on the location, individuals might need to possess a valid driver's license, with a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check being part of the verification process

Physical Demands:

This job may require:

• Long stretches of walking and standing
• Regularly executing movements such as lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
• It is important to follow the protocols concerning the use of uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Job Responsibilities:

Roles can differ at Aramark sites based on specific client demands and operational necessities. Primary duties comprise:

• Collect, scrutinize, and identify incoming stock; raise awareness of any inconsistencies between shipments and accompanying invoices
• Implement FIFO inventory management for perishables to enhance product rotation and minimize the chances of expiration
• Fulfill duties that involve using manual or electric pallet jacks and forklifts with proper training if required
• Collect and sort resources to meet the needs of product, material, and machinery requests
• Move, offload, and convey merchandise within the storage facility or to customer sites utilizing either carts or motorized vehicles
• Execute routine inventory tallies at designated times
• Undertake the task of documenting procedures diligently, which may involve maintaining inventory logs, recording temperature checks, documenting spoilage instances, and inspecting equipment, in either paper or electronic form
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of warehouse spaces, encompassing restrooms, break areas, loading docks, and raised platforms
• Uphold safety policies, follow OSHA standards, review Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines, and familiarize yourself with emergency procedures
• Adhere to the requirement of wearing appropriate Personal Safety Equipment (PSE)
• Guarantee the protection of client and company assets
• Demonstrate professionalism when engaging with clients, coworkers, suppliers, and visitors
• Participate in meetings and perform miscellaneous duties as needed
