General Laborer for Utility Construction

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various manual tasks across our project sites, supporting the overall workflow, and ensuring safety and efficiency in daily operations. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, and detail-oriented.

Duties

• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment on-site
• Perform general site cleanup and maintain a safe work environment
• Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks as needed
• Operate hand tools and basic machinery following safety protocols
• Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
• Assist in setting up work areas for various projects or tasks

Experience

• Must be 21-year-old with good driving record
• Prior experience in construction, manual labor, Hydrovac swamper is preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
• Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in manual labor roles is a plus
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential for consistent attendance
