Pareto Clinic is hiring a Medical Call Center Representative / Front Desk Support for our growing family medicine practice in Jacksonville, Florida.
This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people, smiles through the phone, communicates clearly, learns quickly, and can provide excellent patient service in a busy healthcare setting.
The right person must be pleasant, professional, dependable, intelligent, and able to stay calm while managing calls, scheduling needs, patient questions, and front desk responsibilities.
What This Role Looks Like
You will be one of the first voices patients hear when they contact our practice.
You will help patients schedule appointments, confirm information, navigate next steps, and feel cared for from the first interaction.
This is a fast-paced role that requires strong phone skills, attention to detail, patience, and the ability to follow scheduling rules and office workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and pleasantly.
- Schedule new and established patient appointments according to practice guidelines.
- Confirm and update patient demographics, insurance information, and contact information.
- Assist with appointment reminders, confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Route messages to the appropriate clinical, referral, billing, or administrative team member.
- Help patients understand basic scheduling instructions and next steps.
- Support front desk check-in and check-out when needed.
- Document calls, messages, and patient communication accurately.
- Use computer systems while speaking with patients.
- Follow HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
- Maintain a calm, kind, and professional tone, even when patients are frustrated or confused.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who genuinely likes people and enjoys being on the phone.
The ideal candidate is warm, organized, coachable, quick to learn, and able to multitask without becoming overwhelmed.
Medical office experience is preferred, but we are also open to someone with strong call center, customer service, scheduling, or front desk experience who can learn healthcare workflows quickly.

- Medical front desk experience.

- AthenaOne, Weave, or other medical office software experience.
- Experience working in primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, or women’s health.
