Role Description

The Private Caregiver will provide compassionate, hands-on care and support for clients in their homes in San Jose, CA. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients. The caregiver will also offer emotional support, companionship, and coordinate with family members to address the client's needs. This is an on-site role based in San Jose and is focused on enhancing the quality of life for elderly clients.

Qualifications

• 2 years Experience with personal care assistance, including grooming, dressing, and bathing or a year as a CNA
• Proficiency in meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Knowledge of medication reminders and basic healthcare support
• Strong communication and emotional support skills to provide companionship
• Dependable and punctual with the ability to manage time effectively
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client-related needs
• Must be authorized to work in the US
