The position is in an outpatient physical therapy clinic that focuses on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, post-surgical care, and return-to-function programs. The clinic features extended weekday hours, typically operating from early morning to early evening, offering schedule flexibility based on patient demand and clinic needs. You will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, providing direct patient care consistent with state practice laws and company standards. Typical daily responsibilities include assisting with evaluations by gathering patient history and objective data, implementing established treatment plans, progressing therapeutic exercises, applying modalities as allowed, and providing ongoing patient education. You will document patient care and progress in the clinic’s EMR system, communicate regularly with the supervising PT regarding patient status, and participate in team huddles and case reviews. Patient caseload is primarily adult and adolescent, with a mix of acute and chronic orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and work-related injuries. The work environment emphasizes collaboration, evidence-based practice, and a supportive team culture, with opportunities to learn from experienced PTs and other rehabilitation professionals.
