Job Title: Corporate Recruiter
Job Description
The Corporate Recruiter focuses on recruiting sales roles, including Business Development Managers, Sales Consultants, and Sales Specialists. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to bring fresh ideas, improve recruiting processes, and make a meaningful impact on how the organization attracts and hires top talent in a competitive market. You will lead full-cycle recruitment, act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, and help shape broader talent strategies across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for sales roles from initial intake through offer, including role scoping, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand role requirements, define ideal candidate profiles, and align on hiring strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by sharing market insights, talent trends, and data-driven hiring recommendations to influence hiring decisions.
- Build and execute proactive sourcing strategies to create strong pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Engage passive candidates through networking, referrals, social platforms, and creative outreach campaigns.
- Screen and assess candidates to ensure strong alignment with role requirements, organizational culture, and long-term potential.
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver a seamless, high-touch experience for both candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Support broader talent strategies, including workforce planning, internal mobility initiatives, and succession planning efforts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data, activity logs, and insights within Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) or similar applicant tracking systems.
- Use data and metrics to track recruiting performance, share insights, and continuously improve processes.
- Ensure all recruiting practices align with applicable federal and state regulations and internal policies.
- Contribute ideas and participate in projects and initiatives that elevate the Talent Acquisition function and enhance recruiting effectiveness.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong track record of successful hires.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for sales roles such as Business Development Managers, Sales Consultants, and Sales Specialists.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and partner effectively with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills, with a demonstrated passion for finding and engaging top talent.
- Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to identify and connect with candidates.
- Data-driven mindset with comfort using Excel to track, analyze, and share recruiting metrics and insights.
- Experience recruiting in corporate and/or agency environments.
- Experience supporting hiring across multiple locations within the United States.
- Ability to identify, engage, and assess passive candidates effectively.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to provide thoughtful hiring recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities while maintaining a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience within financial services or other regulated industries is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) or Taleo is preferred.
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines for both immediate and future hiring needs.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and contribute to broader hiring strategies.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes and priorities may shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate candidate records and documentation.
Work Environment
The Corporate Recruiter operates in a professional corporate environment focused on attracting and hiring sales talent across multiple U.S. locations. You will work closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and the broader Talent Acquisition team, leveraging tools such as Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Taleo, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Excel to manage requisitions, track data, and share insights. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of West Des Moines, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
