Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a School Social Worker. You'll work full timeapproximately 35 hours a weekat a single elementary school, providing essential services to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your key responsibilities will include delivering comprehensive social work support as part of a dedicated school staff, addressing students individual and group concerns, collaborating with teachers and families, and participating in team meetings. Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid licensure as a School Social Worker (SSW), with the credentials required to work in Minnesota schools
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
- Solid knowledge of best practices in school social work
- Strong communication, case management, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting students social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Ability to build trust and engage with diverse student and family backgrounds
