MidwayUSA , in Columbia, MO is a privately held eCommerce company in the Outdoor industry.  We are looking for a  Purchasing Specialist for our Clothing, Footwear & Marketplaces category who will work with a Merchandising Manager to serve our Customers by purchasing products and building relationships with our Suppliers.  If you want a career in the outdoor industry,  MidwayUSA  might be the place for you!

About the Role

Responsible for all Purchase Order management, in alignment with the Merchandising & Company strategies through the life cycle of the purchase order.

Meet and negotiate with Suppliers to develop opportunities, obtain product or service information and manage delivery schedules

Participate in Promotions planning and implementation

Assist the Merchandising Manager with analysis and management of Inventory

Review Supplier Performance metrics & suggest & implement measures to drive improvement

About You

You will have 1-3 years’ experience in a position requiring attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication.

A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field is required

You are a user of MidwayUSA's core products

You have excellent product and technical knowledge

You have a positive attitude and a willingness to continuously improve our processes

Annual Salary Range (commensurate with experience): $55,000-$71,500 with annual benchmarking and pay increases to always ensure a competitive salary
