Swimming Pool Retail Store Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, exceptional customer service skills, and a keen understanding of retail management practices. This role requires effective team management, inventory control, and the ability to drive sales while maintaining a positive shopping environment for customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including staffing, training, and development of employees.
• Oversee inventory management processes to ensure stock levels are maintained and merchandise is displayed effectively.
• Implement sales strategies to achieve store targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Conduct employee orientation, training sessions, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated workforce.
• Manage payroll and bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Utilize POS systems for efficient transaction processing and cash handling procedures.
• Supervise daily activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Engage in recruiting efforts to build a strong team capable of delivering exceptional service.
• Maintain effective communication with staff to promote teamwork and resolve any issues promptly.
• Monitor merchandising standards and pricing strategies to optimize sales performance.

Experience

• Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles is essential.
• Experience in pool store management
• Automated cleaners repair
• Strong background in customer service with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
• Proficiency in inventory control, retail math, and sales management techniques.
• Experience with budgeting, purchasing, and administrative tasks related to store operations.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
