Preschool Teacher / July Employment

Job Summary:

Looking for a qualified, Experienced Preschool Teacher. We are a small, established Montessori school looking for a team member.

Must obtain 12 ECE Credits to be employed ( or proof of transferable credits).

We are interested in a person who can commit to a full 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday.

Hours of operation are 7:00 AM to 5:45 PM

Duties:

• Help to implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and incorporate Montessori principles.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's development, classroom activities, and any concerns regarding child welfare.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting conducive to learning and play.
• Foster positive relationships with children to promote emotional well-being and self-esteem.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
• Responsible to help with any daily or weekly classroom chores

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age and a High school graduate
• 12 + units of ECE
• Understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
• Up-to-date on all Vaccinations including TB Test
• Fingerprint Clearance
