This is a structured 6-month pathway into a full Sales Manager role. If you've got the drive, the standards, and the hunger to lead — we'll build the rest.
The Pathway to Sales Management
Phase 1 — Prove It (Months 1–3)
This phase is about earning the right to lead by demonstrating it daily. You'll be evaluated not just on your numbers, but on your character, consistency, and influence on the people around you.
- Continue performing at a high level while mastering every stage of GreenTek's proven sales process
- Demonstrate alignment with GreenTek's mission, culture, and standards — not just when it's convenient, but especially when no one is watching
- Build trust with your teammates by showing up as a resource, not just a competitor
- Complete assigned leadership development material and actively apply what you're learning to your daily habits and interactions
- Receive structured feedback from leadership on your readiness to advance
Phase 2 — Lead It (Months 4–6)
The transition from rep to leader happens here. You'll move from doing to directing — with the support of GreenTek's leadership team beside you every step of the way.
- Month 4: Shadow GreenTek's Sales Manager in daily operations, team meetings, and rep coaching conversations — begin taking on initial leadership responsibilities
- Month 5: Step into a co-management role, running team huddles, supporting newer reps in the field, and contributing to recruiting and onboarding efforts
- Month 6: Operate as the lead manager with full team responsibility and continued mentorship from senior leadership — this is your audition for the permanent role
