THE ROLE.

Glossier is looking for a creative, community-first social media expert to support the development of ownable, best-in-class social strategy and social marketing campaigns.

This person will support the social team, reporting to the Senior Social Media Manager, and will be responsible for audience and engagement growth across all owned channels to drive brand awareness and advocacy.

This will include the daily management of channel operations (content planning, calendar management, caption copywriting, analytical reporting), along with executing the social strategy for brand launches, in collaboration with cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate will be at the forefront of social trends and innovation and have a strong creative eye, as well as the ability to develop channel-by-channel goals and effectively measure success. You will play a key role in driving engagement, gathering feedback, and creating strategies to grow and strengthen our community. Additional responsibilities include:

EXPECTATIONS.

6 Months

The contribution of concepts and ideas for always-on content and campaigns

Cross-channel execution with the ability to strategically plan engaging content and push innovation across channels

Collaboration and briefing cross-functional teams and external partners on opportunities to strategically feature content across owned social

Light touch ad hoc content creation for Tik Tok, Instagram Stories, and Instagram, as needed

Basic social reporting that measures content performance

Platform literacy so Glossier is able to stay on top of social media trends and identify moments for the brand to tap into

12 Months

Development of a social dashboard with active insights to ensure we are learning and driving results

The proactive building and maintenance of the brand's online community by fostering meaningful interactions, monitoring social media sentiment and trends, and responding promptly to relevant comments and feedback

Cross-channel calendar management and ownership of social workstreams

The ideal candidate is willing to work from HQ at least 3 days per week to support the team. KEY INGREDIENTS.

3-5 years experience working in social media management and content development within the beauty industry or related sectors

Strong communication written and verbal skills and attention to detail, particularly in regards to consumer-facing content

A customer-first mindset, with a passion for creating memorable content moments; willingness to challenge "what's expected" when it comes to the brand content landscape

Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

Strong understanding of social media KPIs and social media analytical reporting platforms

Demonstrated ability to work across organizational teams, building cross-functional relationships and advocating for brand outcomes

Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas

Highly proactive, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners to make things happen with limited resources

Must have experience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Capcut or other video editing software

In accordance with the applicable law, the following represents a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum compensation range for this position:

The estimated annual pay range for this role is $82,000 - $107,000.

There may be future opportunities for continued pay progression based on continued strong performance in the role.
