Job Title: Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon
Location: Hybrid – Gilbert and Mesa, Arizona
Schedule: Full-Time
Practice Setting: Outpatient orthopedic clinic with an affiliated surgical center
Call: Shared call rotation among the group
Travel: None required
Position Summary
We are seeking a fellowship-trained Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon with an emphasis on advanced shoulder care to join a physician-led orthopedic group in Gilbert and Mesa, AZ. This role offers a high-volume, focused practice supported by skilled physician assistants, in-house imaging, and a dedicated procedural team. Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $250,000 – $350,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Bonus: Collections-based incentive program

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat shoulder conditions including sports injuries, trauma, and degenerative disorders
Provide advanced shoulder care, including arthroscopy and coordination of shoulder arthroplasty cases as appropriate
Manage all aspects of preoperative and postoperative patient care
Collaborate closely with onsite physical therapy teams to optimize rehabilitation outcomes
Optionally provide sports knee care based on interest and referral volume
Perform in-office procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections
Maintain accurate, detailed documentation within the electronic health record (EHR)
Participate in quality improvement and practice development initiatives
Candidate Requirements
Fellowship training in Sports Medicine
Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABOS or applicable sports medicine board)
Eligible for Arizona medical licensure (MD or DO)
Strong expertise in shoulder pathology and advanced procedural care
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset
