What You’ll Do

Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and mobility support

Take and record vital signs as directed

Assist with toileting, catheter care, and G-tube care

Help with light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and vacuuming

Follow infection control and safety protocols using appropriate PPE

Communicate any changes in condition to the RN and care team

Offer emotional support and a compassionate presence during every visit

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • CNA certification in good standing on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in home care, nursing home, or hospital settings preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance required.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to client safety and well-being.
