We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our growing Hospice Company for our Bucks County, PA region.

Responsibilities

  • Care for census of 5-6 patients
  • Provide or assist in ADL activities; personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails.
  • Assist with toileting, positioning and transfer activities, frequent turning and positioning of a bed bound resident/patient.
  • Assist with the prescribed exercise and ROM activities which the resident/patient and Hospice aide have been taught by the Hospice Nurse.
  • Assist with light housekeeping of individual's personal unit or room, including changing of bed linen and patient’s laundry.
  • Feed and assist with meals.
  • Report any changes in resident's/patient's condition to the Nurse.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Meets training requirements of the State.
  • Received a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training with at least 16 hours devoted to supervised practical training and with at least 16 hours of classroom instruction completed.
  • Must have one year experience as a CNA, hospice aide or home health aide. (Hospice preferred.)
  • Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order and current auto insurance.
  • The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.

Pay rate starts at $19.75 an hour.
