We are seeking a talented and driven German-speaking Team Manager to lead a team of Consumer Support Specialists supporting a multinational consumer goods company in the Laundry Homecare and Beauty Care sectors.
In this role, you will be responsible for guiding your team to meet and exceed client and company objectives, while driving performance, engagement, and continuous improvement. You will coach, motivate, and develop your team, ensuring they have the tools, skills, and knowledge needed to succeed.
Consumer Support Specialists handle complex cases across multiple channels using AI-supported tools and standardized procedures. You will ensure all interactions meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and consumer experience.
As a Team Manager in this project, your daily responsibilities will include:
Manage and monitor team performance, including KPIs, attendance, absenteeism, and attrition
Conduct regular performance reviews, 1:1 meetings, and coaching sessions
Drive performance improvement through feedback, development plans, and structured support
Foster a culture of engagement, collaboration, and accountability
Ensure consistent achievement of quality, productivity, and consumer satisfaction targets
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Training, and Workforce Management teams
Monitor consumer interactions and ensure compliance with standards and procedures
Support employee development and recognition initiatives
Communicate operational or client issues to relevant stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement in consumer experience and service delivery
Ensure adherence to Global Operating Standards, compliance, and company policies
2nd level support (including escalation case handling)
Main counterpart for communication with client
To succeed in the role, you will need to have:
Native or proficient German (C1/C2) – written and spoken
Fluent English (C1/C2) – written and spoken
Minimum 9 months’ experience in a BPO or contact center environment
Experience in team leadership or supervisory roles is an advantage
Must hold EU citizenship or valid work permit for Greece
Be a local candidate living in Greece (work from home role)
Knowledge/abilities
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and coaching ability
Strong analytical and performance-driven mindset
Ability to work in a structured and organized way
Consumer -focused with a strong service orientation
Adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
High level of professionalism and accountability
Collaborative and positive team player
Interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a plus
Education and experience
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience preferred
Relevant industry experience is an advantage but not required, such as: Beauty Care: cosmetic ingredients, hair dye processes, product effects
Home & Laundry Care: product formulations and practical applications
