Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of rebar and formwork according to blueprint specifications and technical drawings.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and effectively.
• Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and sealing tasks to create durable surfaces aligned with project plans.
• Interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of tasks like framing, masonry, roofing, and stucco application.
• Conduct heavy lifting and manual labor for materials handling while adhering to construction workplace safety regulations.
• Support renovation projects by performing carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, drywall installation, caulking, and plastering.
• Assist with metal stud framing, masonry work, tile laying, flooring installation, and other specialized trades as needed on-site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Experience

• Proven experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of construction workplace safety regulations.
• Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and executing construction plans accurately.
• Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation (such as cranes or forklifts), and concrete machinery.
• Knowledge of various trades including carpentry (frame and trim), masonry, roofing, stucco application, welding, and restoration work.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in diverse weather conditions.
• Prior involvement in commercial or residential construction projects is highly desirable.
• Certification or training in construction safety standards is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
