**Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at the West Des Moines Urgent Injury Clinic. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in capturing high-quality x-ray images for patients walking into the clinic. You will work alongside caring providers and Ortho Techs to create a comfortable patient experience, ensuring patients get their questions answered and understand their journey to healing. **Responsibilities**

• Obtain x-ray images for patients walking into the Urgent Injury Clinic
• Greet and prepare patients for their x-ray exam before operating the x-ray machine to capture high-quality images
• Review images and make any necessary adjustments before sending them to the physician
• Provide reassurance and calm communication to patients who may be nervous
• Work independently and keep yourself focused, knowing when to ask for help
• *Qualifications**
• Permit to practice in the state of Iowa as a Radiology Technologist
• Active ARRT certification
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen, ask questions, and avoid interrupting patients
• Ability to work independently and stay focused
