Staff Accountant

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure the accuracy of financial records. This role is responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close, and supporting financial reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities + Prepare and post journal entries for general ledger activity + Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts + Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes + Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts + Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed + Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies + Assist in the preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules + Help ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements + Support audits by gathering documentation and responding to requests + Track fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses + Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes + Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and workflows If you are qualified, please call 786.801.5830 or email victoria.marc@roberthalf.co Requirements Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
