Key Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain
  • State licensure or eligibility required
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • IEP experience highly regarded but not essential
  • Familiarity with AAC devices a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive communication and swallowing evaluations
  • Create and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Adapt therapy to meet ongoing student progress and specific needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and allied health professionals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the IEP process
