The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, stability, and security of the organization’s IT environment. This includes managing servers, cloud platforms, identity systems, and core infrastructure that supports global operations. This role ensures systems are reliable, secure, and scalable to meet current and future needs.
Key responsibilities of the IT Infrastructure Engineer include but are not limited to:
Manage and maintain server infrastructure (physical and virtual environments)
Administer cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or similar) and hybrid environments
Oversee identity and access management (Active Directory, Entra ID, SSO, MFA)
Ensure system security, patching, and vulnerability management across all environments
Monitor system performance, uptime, and capacity; proactively address risks
Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability
Support network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity across locations
Lead infrastructure-related projects (migrations, upgrades, implementations)
Collaborate with vendors and external partners for infrastructure and security services
Develop and maintain technical documentation and system architecture diagrams
Provide escalation support for complex technical issues from Help Desk

5–8 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
Strong experience with virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)
Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices
Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, or similar) preferred
