Position Details:

  • Earn up to $70,000 or more annually.
  • Be eligible for a monthly bonus of up to $1600.
  • Work Monday to Friday with dispatch times between 5:00am - 6:30am.

Position Purpose:

As a Food and Food Service Delivery Driver, you play a critical role in the food supply chain, ensuring customer products arrive safely and on schedule, while building lasting relationships with clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck for local and cross-country deliveries, adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Inspect your vehicle thoroughly for adherence to safety standards, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Follow all company driving guidelines while on the road and ensure the successful handling of freight.
  • Verify loads against customer invoices and ensure they are properly secured in the vehicle.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
  • Deliver orders according to a predetermined route and schedule.
  • Unload products and transport them to designated customer storage areas.
  • Perform damage control checks and report any issues with shipments promptly.
  • Confirm delivery with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and transport vehicles.
  • Adhere to Federal DOT regulations regarding hours of service and recordkeeping.
  • Engage in general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
  • 12+ months of experience driving a Tractor/Trailer.
  • Valid CDL-A, with a minimum age of 21 years.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the last 3 years.
  • Successful completion of a road test.
  • Valid DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
  • Able to lift and move products weighing between 10-90 pounds with appropriate equipment.
