- Painter*Lavonia, GA*Order: 65164Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Painter specializing in applying durable industrial water-based coatings to metal doors and frames using spray systems. This role is responsible for surface preparation, coating application, and equipment maintenance to ensure a high-quality finished product that meets industrial standards. Pay rate is $17–18/hr.Essential Duties:• Prepare metal doors and frames for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing debris or imperfections• Apply industrial water-based paint and coatings using spray systems• Ensure coated surfaces meet quality standards for appearance, durability, and rust resistance• Inspect finished products for consistency, coverage, and defects• Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot spray equipment and other painting tools• Follow safety procedures and proper handling guidelines for paints, coatings, and equipment• Keep work areas organized and free from hazardsRequirements/Skills:• Experience with industrial painting or spray application preferred• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques including cleaning and sanding• Ability to apply even, consistent coatings to metal surfaces• Familiarity with maintaining and operating spray systems and painting equipment• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship• Ability to follow instructions, safety standards, and production schedules• Reliable attendance and strong work ethicPhysical Requirements:• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions• Ability to work in an industrial environment around paint fumes, equipment, and metal materials• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipmentEqual Opportunity Statement:\*Flexicrew Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with FTS is governed on the basis of merit, competence, and qualifications.
