Summary
Overall successful management of the applicant screening and selection process under the direction of the Human Resource Director. Identifying future hiring needs and sourcing candidates through various databases and networking platforms. Research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
Responsibilities
Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
Screen applications and select qualified candidates by reviewing resumes, job applications, and performing phone screenings.
Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
Develop and maintain applicant pool for future openings.
Manage job postings, requisitions and recruitment advertisement processes.
Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is implemented in accordance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Collect and analyze data to maintain current statistics for recruiting practices such as time to fill positions, sources of successful candidates, etc.
Collaborate with the Hiring Manager and/or other Human Resources staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
Liaison between Company and Employment Agencies.
Establish relationships with area College Career Services offices and other organizations that would benefit recruiting efforts.
Store applicant information/applications in accordance with GSC regulations.
Manage onboarding and new hire process.
Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Create new source avenues to acquire qualified candidates.
Requirements
Education
College degree with emphasis on Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
Experience
Two (2) years recruiting experience; two (2) years managing full cycle recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
Knowledge
Intermediate office fundamentals such as filing and organizing.
Skills
Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
Must be able to handle high‑volume work efficiently.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant‑tracking software, other recruitment and HRIS systems.
Intermediate computer operation including but not limited to accessing data from the internet.
Intermediate skill using Microsoft Office products or related software.
Effective communication allowing you to disseminate the necessary information in the quickest and most accurate way possible.
Effective organizational skills that allow you to respond to inquiries with minimal effort and locate information quickly.
