The Four Points by Sheraton Columbus-Polaris is seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in menu planning and ensure all dishes meet quality and presentation expectations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards
  • Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service
  • Support catering events and special functions as needed
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs for efficient kitchen operations
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with menu planning, fine dining, catering, and food service operations preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during evening hours
  • Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Prior kitchen experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable
