The Four Points by Sheraton Columbus-Polaris is seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in menu planning and ensure all dishes meet quality and presentation expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service
- Support catering events and special functions as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs for efficient kitchen operations
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, fine dining, catering, and food service operations preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during evening hours
- Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prior kitchen experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable
