Schedule & Location

• Monday – Friday
• 1:00 pm – 10:30 pm
• Stable hours supporting financial security and work-life balance
• Repair / maintenance shop at our Madison, WI hauling site

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times
• Assist senior mechanics in the completion of project work
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Be over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodationsSuccessfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Required to exert frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing; constantly standing, walking, grasping; occasionally sitting and balancing
• Exposure to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, chemical exposure, etc. often
• Exposure to physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often
• Work in both inside garage/shop or gas plant conditions and outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity
