Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Projected Start: 07/27/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in cardiovascular operating room procedures including CABGs, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy, ECMO, pacemaker implantation, MAZE, and tracheostomy
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within the CVOR setting, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Utilize Meditech documentation system for accurate and timely clinical recordkeeping
• Fulfill on-call requirements, including weekday call after 3:00 PM (Monday–Friday) and 24-hour call coverage on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Collaborate with OR RNs and surgical team members to support smooth workflow in the cardiovascular OR
• Be available to provide coverage across multiple hospital locations as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Demonstrated experience in a CVOR or cardiovascular surgical setting
• Proficiency with CVOR-specific equipment and instrumentation
• Ability to meet on-call obligations including weekend 24-hour call coverage

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel assignment experience preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments and function independently
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system
