We are seeking an execution-focused Business Systems Analyst to join our organization. The ideal candidate will take ownership of day-to-day execution across IS T, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), and Design, allowing product leadership to focus on discovery, stakeholder alignment, and long-term roadmap strategy. You will bridge the gap between high-level product intent and engineering execution, driving backlog health, clear requirements, and seamless feature delivery.

Please note, this is an on-site contract role, with the possibility of long-term extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Management: Refine, write, and update clear, well-structured requirements as projects evolve due to design or technical direction shifts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UX designers to align requirements with design direction, and collaborate with technical teams to agree on implementation approaches.

Testing Release Support: Serve as the functional point of contact for QA, perform hands-on sanity testing of features, and support UAT/PVT to ensure release readiness.

Story Backlog Lifecycle: Lead engineering teams through Epic kickoffs, drive story development, resolve scope unknowns, and facilitate the estimation process.

Sprint Agile Execution: Support Scrum ceremonies, manage high-volume story carryover, and work closely with Project/Delivery Managers to align sprint assignments with team capacity and priorities.

Data Process Analysis: Dig into data and map out complex business processes to inform decisions and proactively identify cross-team dependencies or downstream impacts.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience working as a Business Systems Analyst , technical BA, or in a hybrid product delivery role managing the end-to-end requirement-to-story lifecycle.

Expertise in Jira for backlog management, ticketing workflows, and sprint tracking.

Deep understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies, delivery cadences, and sprint ceremonies.

Strong technical data skills, including the ability to independently query data using SQL and build structured outputs in Excel .

Excellent project management instincts—highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with follow-ups without needing to be pushed.

Curious, analytical mindset with a track record of asking the right questions to uncover root technical or functional needs.

Nice to Have:

Prior experience working within the Finance Sales domain.

Strategic thinking capabilities with a strong knack for mapping complex downstream impacts and cross-team implications.

Experience collaborating closely with Technical Project Managers or Delivery Managers on precise capacity planning and requirements handoff.
