THE REGION
Coldfoot, Alaska — two hundred sixty miles north of the nearest traffic light in Fairbanks, two hundred forty miles south of the Arctic Ocean, sixty miles north of the Arctic Circle, sixty miles south of the northernmost extent of the tree line, adjacent to the 8.2 million acre Gates of the Arctic National Park. The area is bathed in 24‑hour daylight for four months (Apr 22 – Aug 20) and located directly under the Aurora Oval, making Coldfoot one of the best places in the world to view the aurora borealis (Aug 21 – Apr 21).

Central to the hospitality is the Trucker’s Café, open year‑round, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A coworker who successfully works through the 30 September 2026 season completion date (minimum 4‑month season) will earn a $2,000.00 season completion bonus. All coworkers are provided lodging and three meals per day at no cost.
