Position Summary:
Suwannee Medical Personnel is seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for PRN assignments at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital in Savannah, GA. This opportunity is ideal for compassionate, skilled nurses with a strong background in acute or critical care who are looking for flexible scheduling while providing high-quality care to medically complex patients.
Position Details:
PRN / Per Diem
Day and night shifts may be available
Location: Savannah, GA
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered care to medically complex patients requiring extended hospitalization.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform assessments and interventions in accordance with patient care plans.
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, and other clinical staff.
Document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition in accordance with facility protocols.
Maintain compliance with infection control, safety procedures, and facility policies.
Requirements:
Active RN license in Georgia.
Minimum 2 years of recent bedside nursing experience in an LTAC, ICU, Med-Surg, or similar acute care setting.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Willingness to complete all facility-specific onboarding and credentialing requirements.
