We are looking for a motivated, organized, and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist with 1–3 years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting high-volume hiring. In this role, you will execute the full recruitment lifecycle for field positions, partnering closely with hiring managers to quickly identify, attract, and onboard qualified candidates. Success requires the ability to prioritize multiple requisitions, build strong candidate pipelines, maintain an exceptional candidate experience, and consistently meet hiring goals in a rapidly changing environment.
By delivering quality talent quickly and efficiently, this role directly supports operational readiness, workforce planning, and revenue generation while ensuring PROtect continues to attract and retain the skilled workforce that drives our success.
This position requires a physical presence in our South Houston, Pearland office. Hybrid opportunities are available, but in office expectation is 60%.
Essential Functions And Basic Duties
End-to-End Talent Acquisition
- Execute full-cycle recruiting process from workforce planning and sourcing through offer, onboarding, and transition to billable status.
- Recruit for multiple open requisitions across departments while maintaining a high-quality candidate and manager experience.
- Ensure timely hiring aligned with operational needs and revenue targets.
Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner closely with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand business priorities, workforce needs, and role requirements.
- Act as a consultative advisor to managers on hiring decisions, talent tradeoffs, and market realities.
- Translate business needs into effective recruiting strategies that drive performance and growth.
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Proactively source and engage candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, industry events, and direct outreach.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for both current and future hiring needs.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill, technical, and field-based roles.
Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
- Deliver a professional, positive, and engaging experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Create compelling job postings and promote opportunities across multiple platforms.
- Represent PROtect’s culture, values, and growth opportunities in all candidate interactions.
Compliance & Hiring Operations
- Ensure compliance with all hiring and onboarding requirements, including E-Verify, background checks, drug screens, and employment eligibility.
- Partner with HR and Compliance to ensure consistent, legally compliant hiring practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and candidate conversion.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality of hire, and business outcomes.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
Required Knowledge And Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in high volume hiring environments including manufacturing or staffing.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers in fast-paced or growth-oriented environments.
- Strong understanding of technical and field-based roles in oil and gas, energy and safety and compliance industries.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing software to identify passively sourced candidates.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple job openings across multiple departments and hiring managers.
- Familiarity with industry-specific certification requirements.
- Working knowledge of hiring compliance, employment laws, and onboarding requirements.
