Duties

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and quickly
• Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
• Assist customers with product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Practice effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries
• Support supervisory staff by supervising team members during shifts and assisting with training new employees

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Strong communication skills and bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs
• Experience in cashiering, cash handling, and retail math to ensure precise transactions
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos to promote sales effectively
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
• Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
