Area Blaster

The Area Blaster safely and efficiently carries out blasting operations within assigned site areas. This role integrates advanced technology – including georeferenced 3D models, drone-based survey workflows, fragmentation analysis platforms, and Measure While Drilling (MWD) data systems. The Area Blaster ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards while supporting site production goals through accurate documentation, proactive coordination with site leadership, and a continuous learning mindset. This role emphasizes safe explosives handling and minimizing impacts to employees, neighbors, and the environment while remaining practical and effective for the operation.
